Description:CHEF DE PARTIE, GARDE MANGER & DESSERTS/PASTRY, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS WATERFRONT FINE DINING RESTAURANT We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, creative, CHEF DE PARTIE, GARDE MANGER & DESSERTS/PASTRY Be part of an electric, friendly, professional, young, state-of-the-art culinary and restaurant dining team. Excellent working atmosphere! This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented CHEF DE PARTIE in a brand-new, upscale, trend-conscious, beautiful waterfront restaurant in the Cayman Islands. This waterfront property is Grand Cayman's newest restaurant offering: an upscale and chic atmosphere with elegant open air dining. Key Objective and Role: The CHEF DE PARTIE will report directly to the RESTAURANT CHEF who is a very talented, International, European Michelin trained Chef.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate has experience in upscale casual or fine dining full-service restaurant, must be able work effectively in a smaller team, and is well organized. The candidate should display enthusiasm for outstanding fine dining, possesses excellent culinary skills and people skills and be knowledgeable of proper food production standards. The Executive Chef is willing to train and teach the right candidate who is passionate and interested in further developing their culinary skills. Team Player and willing to work closely with the Chef is essential. The field for this position is COLD SECTION, GARDE MANGER, AND DESSERTS/PASTRIES. Pastries and Desserts can be taught by the Chef if you have basic knowledge and willingness to learn. RED SEAL CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Excellent Salary, Benefits. Salary is US$30,000 NET, PLUS TIPS! The company will assist in finding suitable housing.
